In 2006, Ft. Lauderdale, FL native and filmmaker,

Ken Vathauer, set out to make a documentary about 

a homeless Vietnam veteran he had met that lived in a meter room.

For the next few months Ken followed Tim Benedix

around the streets and alleys of Fort Lauderdale to

document what life was like for this individual.

"Meter Room" is a raw and realistic look into

one man's journey trying to survive on the streets.
